An outstanding organist and pedagogue from Białystok, closely associated with the local branch of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. His concert activity spans nearly all of Europe (with a particular focus on the Scandinavian countries) as well as multiple extensive tours across the United States. As the artistic director of the Cathedral Organ Concerts, which have been held in the Białystok Cathedral Basilica since 1996, and various organ concert series across the Podlaskie Voivodeship, he is deeply committed to popularizing organ music.
Dr Lindsay Davidson
A historic figure in the world of music, he is the first person in the world to graduate with a music degree in Scottish bagpipes from the University of Edinburgh. His mission is to introduce this instrument into the mainstream of classical music, a goal he successfully pursues as an acclaimed composer and performer, collaborating with such masters as Jerzy Maksymiuk and Krzesimir Dębski. The artist has performed with numerous prestigious orchestras, including The Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra. Honored with the prestigious title of “Clan Piper,” Lindsay Davidson not only cultivates the centuries-old tradition of his native Linlithgow but also creates a modern repertoire in which the bagpipes become an instrument of almost limitless expressive possibilities.
Dr hab. Irena Czubek-Davidson
An exceptional harpist, professionally associated with the Kraków Philharmonic and her alma mater, the Academy of Music in Kraków. Her artistry, perfected under the guidance of the most prominent European authorities, allows her to move effortlessly between major symphonic repertoire and chamber music featuring the lever harp, which is characteristic of the Celtic tradition. She served as a co-organizer and soloist of the Harp Symposium organized by the Academy of Music in Kraków. She is also the co-founder of the unique trio Celtic Triangle (soprano, Scottish bagpipes, lever harp), which performs Scottish and Celtic music. In her diverse repertoire, she devotes special attention to vocal-harp compositions.
