“Trio Animato” ensemble
A world-renowned ensemble, ranked among the top formations utilizing harmonicas in a way that transcends the boundaries of folk or blues music. The trio, comprising Marek Jaroszyński (chromatic harmonica), Piotr Bieliński (chord harmonica), and Piotr Włodarczyk (bass harmonica), has developed a unique style based on original arrangements of the greatest works of classical and popular music. Their artistry has been recognized at prestigious international forums, evidenced by top prizes and performances in major concert halls—from the Warsaw National Philharmonic to renowned stages in Lviv and Szczecin.
Dr hab. Piotr Rojek
An outstanding organist and composer, professor at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, closely tied to the local musical community as a pedagogue and Head of the Department of Organ, Harpsichord, and Early Music. A graduate of the classes of Prof. Andrzej Chorosiński and distinguished composition teachers, he honed his expertise under the guidance of the greatest authorities in European organ performance. His artistic activity ranges from faithful interpretations of early masters to bold improvisation, which serves as one of the pillars of his musical identity. Piotr Rojek is an artist with a recognized discography, highlighted by a Fryderyk Award nomination for an album recorded on the historic Casparini organ. A special expression of appreciation for his contribution to the region’s culture was the presentation of the “Merito de Wratislavia” Medal of the Mayor of Wrocław and the Star of the Order of the Chapter of Canons, honoring his merits in restoring the historic Michael Engler organ at the Basilica of St. Elizabeth in Wrocław. His playing is a fusion of academic discipline and creative passion, which always finds a perfect resonance within the cathedral walls.
