Bogdan Narloch, Roman Gryń

Bogdan Narloch 

Graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, in the organ class of prof. Leon Bator. He has been the director of the International Organ Festival in Koszalin and the Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Słupsk for many years. From 1995 to 2014, together with prof. Marek Toporowski, he organised the annual Ogólnopolskie Kursy Interpretacji Muzyki Organowej. He taught at the Academy of Art in Szczecin and at the Pomeranian University in Słupsk. His concert activity includes solo recitals, chamber music, and concerts with orchestras. He has performed in most European countries and in Brazil, Israel, Canada, Russia, Uruguay, Taiwan and the USA. He has many recordings of historical organs and organ music of Pomerania in his output. He is involved in the research and preservation of historic organs in Pomerania. For his activities he has been awarded, e.g. the bronze medal Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture and Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice. 

Roman Gryń 

Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he graduated from the instrumental department with a specialisation in trumpet. He honed his skills with eminent educators: Tiemofiej Dokshicer and Edward Tar. He has worked at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and as soloist and trumpet group leader at the Poznań Philharmonic. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras in Poland and abroad, giving concerts in Europe, the USA, and Canada. He is active as a soloist and chamber musician, and is a co-founder of the Poznań Brass Quintet enseble. He has performed with many prominent organists, including Jiří Tůma, Andrzej Chorosiński and Roman Perucki. He is a professor at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and Poznań, where he holds the position of Head of the Chair of Wind Instruments and Accordion. He sits on juries of competitions and conducts workshops and interpretation courses in orchestral, chamber and soloist music.
