Sławomir Kamiński, Tomasz Gubański, Ewa Gubańska

Sławomir Kamiński 

Graduate of the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, in the class of prof. Romuald Sroczyński. He gives concerts as a soloist and chamber musician at home and abroad, and has performed at Smetana Saal in Prague and Schauspielhaus in Berlin, as well as at basilicas: S. Vitale in Ravenna, St. Mattias in Budapest, and St. Pietro in Montorio in Rome. He has worked with the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra, the Poznań Boys’ Choir and the ‘Poznańskie Słowiki’ choir. He has numerous recordings to his credit. His album ‘F. Nowowiejski – Oratorium Quo Vadis’ received the 2018 ICMA award and was nominated for a 2018 Fryderyki award. He is a professor of organ class at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where he has been the vice-president for art, science and international relations since 2020. 

Tomasz Gubański 

Graduate of the I. J. Paderewski Academy in Poznań in the oboe class of prof. Mieczysław Koczorowski. He honed his skills at music courses in Italy. Since 1980, he has been associated with the T. Szeligowski Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra, since 1989 as the first oboist and soloist. He has collaborated with many orchestras, including Sinfonia Varsovia, Orkiestra Kameralna Amadeus and Capella Bydgostiensis. He is active in ensemble, solo, and chamber music, giving concerts in Poland and abroad. He was awarded Medal Młodej Sztuki Głosu Wielkopolskiego. He teaches oboe at the Academy of Music in Poznań and at the M. Karłowicz Secondary Music School in Poznań. He teaches oboe courses in Poland and abroad, and is a jury member of many music competitions. 

Ewa Gubańska 

She graduated from the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the violin class of prof. Wojciech Maliński, and a year later from the K. Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the solo singing class of mgr Agnieszka Rehlis. She honed her skills at the Opera Academy of the National Theatre in Warsaw and then in Italy, specialising in Baroque singing with Gloria Banditelli and Gemma Bertagnolli. She graduated with honours from the Conservatorio G. B. Martini in Bologna. She is the first place winner of Haendel Singing Competition 2014 in London. She performed at the Queen Elizabeth Hall during London Haendel Festival 2015l in G. F. Handel’s oratorio Semele, conducted by maestro Laurence Cummings. She participated in prestigious music festivals, including Ravenna Festival, Villa Manin Estate Festival, Festival Monteverdi di Cremona, and Sagra Musicale Umbra.
