“Servi Domini Cantores” vocal ensemble
Translating to “Singing Servants of the Lord,” this ensemble is unique on a national and even European scale. The group is composed of priests who have chosen to parallelly cultivate both their spiritual calling and their professional musical talent. They are graduates of the Vocal and Acting Departments of Polish music academies, making them fully-fledged artists of opera and concert stages.
Since its inception in 2004, the ensemble has consistently proven that sacred music, oratorio arias, and even world-famous opera repertoire can serve as powerful tools for evangelization and cultural dialogue. The members of the group – Fr. Rafał Kobyliński, Fr. Paweł Sobierajski, Fr. Zdzisław Madej, Fr. Tomasz Jarosz, Fr. Robert Kaczorowski – combine their daily pastoral duties with academic and artistic endeavors, performing at prestigious festivals and recording critically acclaimed albums.

A name of paramount significance in the world of Polish organ music—the long-standing Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and a world-renowned artist. His performances in such prestigious venues as the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Paul VI Audience Hall in the Vatican, and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow have permanently written themselves into the history of musical performance. As a master of improvisation and an outstanding interpreter, Prof. Chorosiński knows how to bring out the full, royal majesty of the organ.
